Why Goldridge? It’s where we call home. We’re premium winegrowers perched on a Sonoma County hillside along the famed gold ridgeline located in the Green Valley AVA of the Russian River Valley.
About Jessica
Jessica thrives at the intersection of mission-driven purpose, creativity, experiential design and cross-functional collaboration. She has served as an innovator, strategist, content creator, entrepreneur, brand advocate, integrated communications specialist and partner in excellence accelerating Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits and start ups. She has both agency and in house experience.
Clients say she’s an exceptional connector – of ideas, people and possibility paired with a dynamic ability to implement. While the recipe differs, she blends her big picture thinking with her love for details to produce results-driven outcomes.
She catalyzes ideas and executes on bold visions leveraging an extensive background in thought leadership strategy and development, writing, securing speaking opportunities for C-suite executives, managing event sponsorship activations and developing communities.
She and John co-founded Harvest Summit, an exclusive, invite-only innovation event with world renowned speakers, cross-industry C-suite delegates and leading brand sponsors like Accenture, Audi and Silicon Valley Bank with attendees from Apple, Instagram, Facebook, Google, MGM, Microsoft, Nike, Pepsi, SpaceX et al. Jessica served as the content curator and MC for Harvest Summit.
From idea to sold out execution, the summit sparked cross-industry collaborations, deal flow, career defining connections and new ventures. It was rooted in the belief that thought provoking conversations and inspired collaborations matter for business, the future of work, food, our communities, our children and our planet.
Jessica’s social impact work is meaningful to her. She is a non profit board member and advisor too many. She cares deeply about education, the future of food, declaring victory over cancer and doing the harder right than easier wrong, especially when it comes to climate change.
About John
John is an accomplished CEO and award-winning entrepreneur best known for creating and publishing the popular For Dummies brand of how to books which has gone on to sell over 250 million copies in over 30 languages generating over $2 billion in retail sales and numerous New York Times bestsellers. Under his leadership IDG Books Worldwide grew from $0 to $240 million in 10 years including a successful IPO and exit.
He is the former President, Callisto Media, a transformative data analytics and content company.
His prior entertainment experience includes leadership roles as SVP/GM, LightWorkers (a MGM Venture), where he launched with Mark Burnett and Roma Downey their digital video, audio and content network creating & curating premium, original short form programming.
As President and Publisher of Billboard magazine (2003-2008), he architected and executed the turnaround of a legacy music brand into a global, omni-channel platform (print, event, web, mobile, data licensing) and subsequently was promoted to Group Publisher of the music/literary and film (The Hollywood Reporter) groups. He was also appointed to the Nielsen Global Executive Committee and conceived and executed a new data tracking business in the mobile ringtone space.
He has received numerous awards including Ernst and Young’s 1999 Entrepreneur of the Year. He was a member of Advertising Age’s 1995 Marketing 100 award and was recognized as a key influencer on FOLIO’s annual Folio 40 list and MIN Magazine’s 21 Most Intriguing People in 2006. He was named a recipient of the Irish America Business 100 award (1999 & 2003) and has been profiled in Forbes, PEOPLE, The New York Times and USA Today.
He is formerly a director of Courier (NASDAQ: CRRC), sold to RR Donnelly, and Executive Chairman of Fast Pencil (sold to Courier) and held board positions on two other NASDAQ traded companies.
